🔮 Saturday: Step Into Your Magic and Just Be

The Soft Life Society Daily

05.23.2025

Happy Saturday, soft soul!

It’s Saturday, and I’m inviting you to give yourself permission to slow down today.

The week may have been full of doing, pushing, and striving... and that’s all good. But today? Let’s embrace the magic of being. No deadlines, no to-do lists. Just you, in this moment, exactly where you’re meant to be.

There’s a quiet power in allowing ourselves to simply be. It’s in those quiet moments, when we stop rushing and start listening, that the most meaningful shifts happen.

Today, find joy in just existing.

🌸 Sit in stillness and notice how your body feels when you’re not rushing.
🎨 Do something creative just for fun, no pressure to "finish" or "complete." Just let yourself enjoy the process.
🍃 Get outside, even if it’s just for a few minutes, and breathe in the air. Let nature remind you of your own rhythm.

Take some time in your journal today to think about:

What does it feel like to simply be without pressure or expectation? How can I bring more of that into my weekend?

Remember, you don’t need to earn peace, joy, or rest. You deserve it simply because you are. Today, let your magic flow in the quiet moments.

UP NEXT: New Moon Manifesting Gathering

It's almost time for the new moon - which means it's time to gather for our Manifesting Ritual. The new zoom format made the last gathering the most special we've had to date, so I cannot wait to do this one in zoom.

We'll do a bit of manifesting magic with a Honey Jar Spell! It’s a beautiful, gentle, and powerful way to attract positive energy and make things flow more smoothly in your life. Here's what you'll need for the spell:

  • A small jar (a mason jar or any small glass jar works fine)
  • Honey (the sweeter, the better! Raw or organic honey is ideal, but any honey will do)
  • A piece of paper (to write your intentions)
  • A pen (to write your desires)
  • Cinnamon (for attraction, success, and movement)
  • Cloves (for protection and to sweeten the relationship or situation)
  • A candle (yellow, pink, or green for attraction, or white for purity)
  • Rose petals or dried flowers (optional, for love, peace, and beauty)
  • A small piece of string or thread (to tie the paper, optional)

Join us at 7 pm on Tuesday, May 27th to embrace the magic of the New Moon (use passcode SLS)

Lately, there’s been this heavy hum beneath the surface, a sadness sitting like a fog in our bones. But the deeper I feel into it (and ask you directly)... I’m realizing something big:That sadness? It’s not weakness. It’s rage that never got permission to rise. And today I wanna talk about it. Because ALL emotions are valid... but some are more effective for change than others. NEW ON THE BLOG They Taught You to Cry Instead of Scream. Let’s Change That. I’ve been watching this wave roll through...

I usually love summer so much that I don’t spend a single second of it in anything but pure joy.But this year hits different. I’m tired. Like… soul tired. I don’t know if it’s just me, if it’s the chaos unfolding around us, or if maybe I just need a damn vacation. Either way, it’s reminding me that balance doesn’t come from the world outside. It comes from within. And around here? That means a little rebellion, a lot of rest, and finding the kind of beautiful distractions that soothe the...

This morning I woke up and realized I have been WAY too overstimulated lately. Even though we're in this magical time of year where the birds are singing and the flowers are blooming... I am seeing signs of frazzledness. From seeing the way people act in person to the comment sections online... as the weather gets warmer, we have to be more intentional about keeping our cool - aka staying calm. It's the most important thing we can do for ourselves and each other. So today, I'm sharing these...
