At this point, it's pretty obvious that the US government is failing it's citizens, right?
But when a society starts falling apart, those who are the helpers emerge - and I truly believe this is how the matriarchy will rise.
It won't be in one MAJOR motion. It will be a gradual shift - and the fact that women have been remembering their power in recent decades has had an incredible impact that has the patriarchy grasping to stay in control.
However, grasping too hard will be the downfall... and we're seeing it happen in real time.

A few days ago, I saw the headline that SNAP benefits might not go out in November if the government shutdown drags on.
I froze.
November… the month when we celebrate abundance. Gratitude. The harvest. The table. And yet millions of Americans could face empty plates.
So I did what I always do when the news feels too heavy: I went looking for solutions.
I opened my laptop and searched for a local food bank to donate to.
Except… there wasn’t one.
Not in our little Alabama town.
Not anything consistent or reliable.
And that realization hit me like a brick to the chest: no one is coming to save us.
If we want safety nets, we have to weave them ourselves.
