the magic is in YOU

I don't know if it's collective consciousness or just the state of where we are as a society, but I have been getting a LOT of emails, messages and comments from women who are ready to step into the path of witchcraft after deconstructing religion.

And as we watch the patriarchy in the throes of an extinction burst, leaning into the matriarchy now is more important than ever.

Matriarchies are steeped in witchcraft, whether it is marketed that way or not. Which is why so many women are feeling the call to take the path of the craft...

New on Substack:
Welcome to Witchcraft 101

While some folks might want to set forth an actual step-by-step plan or a set of rules for you to follow, witchcraft doesn't really work that way.

Each person has a personal journey of discovering how to fold it into her life, and your journey will be no different.

So instead of telling you an "actionable plan", today we're chatting about how I got started on my path before we dive into more of the nuts and bolts in this new series.

January issue of Illumine is here!

Whether you are new to the path or have been here for decades, my magazine Illumine is the magazine for you. Illumine was created to be a full-spectrum lifestyle magazine for magical souls - kind of like a monthly grimoire for you to find more ways to make life magical.

From gardening to home ideas, recipes to crafts, travel, self reflection and more - I cannot wait for you to dive into the latest issue.

Available in ready to ship print issues in the US or instant download digital.

The Art of Making Life Magical(the newsletter) Life comes in cycles 03.11.2026 Far be it from me to quote the Bible, but sometimes it simply has the right words... Because to everything there is a season. Everything has a purpose, even if we don't see it. Sometimes seeing it changes everything. The Art of Making Life Magical(the newsletter) Reclaiming our time... 03.08.2026 Have you ever heard of Cultural Reproduction? It's a sociological concept that explains how culture is passed down not primarily through governments or laws, but through daily practices inside families and communities. I believe this is how the matriarchy will take shape. Not because men finally decide to hand over the keys to the Barbie Dreamhouse... but instead we simply build a new system from within while...

The Art of Making Life Magical(the newsletter) Spring is in the air.... 03.04.2026 Looking out my window, I see the forsythia and buttercups blooming. Signs that spring is truly here. The days are getting warmer and longer and my soul feels like it's coming back to life a bit. I've been puttering in the garden since I got home from a weekend away - and OH how I missed it! I forgot just how grounding it is. But also, gardening is about hope. We plant seeds, tend to them and wait for them to...
