The way you do anything is the way you do everything...
We've all heard this a million times in a million different ways, because it's an absolute truth. But witches know it's because that's the heart of intention.
And intention is everything.
When you do things with great intention, that's how you direct your energy on purpose and truly make the most of your craft.
So it only makes sense to actually add a layer of intention to your days by literally doing it on a calendar.
After I shared about this concept, I've had a lot of questions around it, so today we're going to dive in and I'm going to let you take a peek into my calendar to see how I put it into action...
New on Substack:
How I Let the Moon Organize My Month
I have never been much interested in living like a machine.
I do not believe women were made to function at the exact same pitch every single day, moving from one square on the calendar to the next as if we are all little office printers with lipstick on. I have always lived more by rhythm. By feeling. By seasons. By paying attention to when my mind is sparkling, when my body is asking for softness, when my creativity is ready to pour itself onto the page, and when the pressure of a deadline lights a fire under me hot enough to get twelve things done before supper.
And for a long time, even before I wrote any of it down, I was living in relationship with the moon that way.
Not in some rigid or overly ceremonial fashion. I mean in the most practical sense. I began to notice that certain weeks were better for rest. Certain weeks were perfect for dreaming and planning. Certain weeks seemed to turn on the lights in the creative wing of my brain. And certain weeks, especially with my ADHD, were absolute rocket fuel for output and completion.
Once I saw that pattern, I could not unsee it.
