Happy Winter Solstice!Today is Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year, and honestly one of the most meaningful days on the witch’s calendar. Not because it’s dark… but because this is the exact moment everything begins tipping back toward the light. Solstice literally translates to “sun standing still.” It’s the pause. The breath between cycles. The quiet moment before the returning light begins its slow climb. And that’s why Day 2 of Witchmas is centered around rebirth + renewal. Not the dramatic kind — not the “reinvent yourself overnight” nonsense the world tries to sell us. Solstice is about the small shift. The first spark... the tiniest reminder that you’re allowed to begin again, even if the road ahead still looks wintry. And if you want to make the day feel meaningful in a simple, accessible way, I wrote a post on my blog with 7 Ways to Celebrate the Winter Solstice that walks through gentle ways to honor the season — things like lighting a candle for the returning light, making a simple feast, or taking a quiet moment outside. Here’s my favorite tiny ritual for today: Step outside for a moment and notice the sky. Nothing forced. Nothing performed. Just a little inner spark… enough to honor the turning of the wheel. And that's how we celebrate day two... a small spark to welcome back the light, and a little clearing to make room for what’s ahead. Today's gift is a Witchmas Playlist that is the perfect one for journaling, hanging out and enjoying solstice. It's warm and comforting, but also only instrumental, so it's super soothing.

Today is Day Six of Witchmas, and it's all about Rebellious Kindness... choosing peace over pressure, choosing softness over performance, and letting the day be what you need it to be. And since it’s Christmas Day, I know this can be… a lot. For some of us it’s joyful. For others, complicated. For many, it’s somewhere right in between. So today’s Witchmas gift is something simple and cozy — a little soundtrack to wrap around your morning, or your cooking, or your lounging under blankets, or...
Today is Day Five of Witchmas, and it's to honor Ancestors & Stories... the people who shaped us, the memories we carry, the traditions we keep and the ones we choose to rewrite. And tonight, I get to live a story I haven’t had in over 30 years. My mom is coming to stay the night for Christmas Eve. Not because I celebrate the holiday anymore — but because she does. And honoring what matters to the people we love… that’s its own kind of magic. So tonight we’ll cook together, watch movies,...
Today is Day Four of Witchmas, and the theme is one of my absolute favorites: Whimsy & Wonder. This is the day where we let ourselves be delighted. Not in a big, performative way… but in those tiny, unexpected sparks that make your spirit lift just a little. The kind of joy that isn’t productive, isn’t necessary, and isn’t logical — which is exactly why it feels like magic. Whimsy + Wonder matter! It reminds us we’re still capable of awe, curiosity, and play… even as adults who carry far too...
