It's day four of my #75Soft quest...
And look, I'm all about softness - but not in the traditional "calm, passive" way.
Fuck that shit.
I'm soft for ME. And I hope you're being soft for you, too.
Because you deserve to be soft with yourself in a world that's hell bent on making it too damn hard.
NEW ON THE BLOG:
What is food noise trying to teach you?
Have you ever heard the term "food noise"?
It's where you constantly think of food, even if you're not hungry.
It’s not just physical hunger - it’s the mental noise that makes food feel like it’s always there, taking up space in your head. It can look like....
- Thinking about your next meal while you’re still eating the current one.
- Obsessing over whether you “should” or “shouldn’t” eat something.
- Cravings that feel loud, urgent, and hard to ignore.
- Feeling like your brain won’t quiet down until you give in to a certain food.
And if you struggle with it, you know it sucks. Like truly.
I don't know that there is a "cure" - but I do know that I've found a few things to make it more manageable for myself, so of course I'm gonna share (because that's what besties do!)
