🪻 I went shopping and bought nothing… and somehow felt full

The Art of Making Life Magical

Joy > adrenaline, always

03.30.2025

Whew, friend…
I didn’t expect a trip to the store to bring on a mini breakthrough, but here we are.
This week reminded me how easy it is to slip into old patterns—to chase a little hit of something when the quiet feels too quiet.
But healing isn’t loud.
Sometimes it’s an empty cart and a full heart.
Sometimes it’s realizing that you don’t need chaos to feel alive anymore.
And that? That’s the softest kind of power.

New Blog: Empty Carts, Not Empty Hearts

I went shopping this week. I wandered, touched pretty things, felt that little spark of “ooh I should buy something…”
And then I walked out with nothing.
That might not sound like a big deal—but for someone who used to use shopping as a coping mechanism for overstimulation, anxiety, or just plain boredom…
That empty cart felt like a full-circle moment.

This isn’t about budgeting. It’s about healing.
It’s about learning that calm doesn’t mean something’s wrong.
It might just mean… you’re safe.

Playlist: A Vintage Kind of Spring

Music is a special kind of magic, don’t you think?
This playlist feels like soft air, open windows, and healing in motion. It’s what I’ve been playing while cooking, journaling, or just breathing deeper. And I thought you might enjoy it for a dose of happiness this week.

✨ It’s cinematic.
✨ It’s nostalgic.
✨ And it’s 109 minutes of pure seasonal softness.

Everyday Spells: Calm Joy Oil Blend

If you’re craving a little peace in your pocket, here’s a ritual you can carry with you. This blend is perfect for when your nervous system needs grounding and a little lift.

🌿 Calm Joy Roller Bottle Blend
In a 10ml roller bottle, add:

  • 5 drops bergamot (for joy + emotional balance)
  • 4 drops lavender (to soothe and soften)
  • 3 drops cedarwood (to feel safe + rooted)
  • 2 drops wild orange (for lightness + vitality)
Top with fractionated coconut oil or your favorite carrier.

Use it on wrists, behind ears, or over your heart while whispering:
“I welcome joy without chaos. I am safe in my softness.”

Carry it. Roll it. Repeat as needed.
Tiny rituals = big shifts.

🪻 New Workshop: From Chaos to Calm 🪻

If you’ve ever felt like you can’t sit still… like your brain is always scanning for what’s next, or your peace gets sabotaged the minute you taste it—there’s a reason. It’s not just stress. It’s chaos addiction. And it’s not your fault.

You learned to live in survival mode.
But you don’t have to stay there.

In From Chaos to Calm, I’ll teach you:

  • What chaos addiction really is (and how it hides in plain sight)
  • How to stop feeding it—without guilt or shame
  • And how to start building a peaceful, grounded life you don’t need to escape from

And it's only $17, because healing should be accessible to everyone.

Because calm isn’t boring.
Calm is power.
And you deserve to feel safe in it.

That’s all for this week, friend.
Let peace be your act of rebellion.
Let softness be your superpower.
And know that I’m in your corner, always.

Wishing you a magical week,

The April issue of Illumine is here!

the joyous rebellion 03.09.2025 WHEW. The world feels like a dumpster fire right now, huh? It’s like every time we turn around, there’s another reason to be stressed, mad, or overwhelmed. And you know what? That’s by design. Because exhausted people don’t fight back. Overwhelmed people don’t dream big. Burned-out people don’t have the energy to create magic. So, this week, I’m giving the chaos a big ol’ middle finger ✌️ and choosing softness, joy, and abundance instead. Wanna do it with me? 🍓...
